De-Constructing Success

The majority of societies have predictable success factors that are ‘logical’ next steps to different milestones in life. Very simply: graduate university by age X, become a boss by age Y, get married by age Z, etc.

Today, these ‘logical’ steps are slowly becoming the X-factor for some people’s unhappiness. Fast money, fake fame, and the lurking of a new epidemic called the “work-life” balance is slowly sprouting.

The root of the problem is: What is Success?

Rethinking those logical societal steps and de-constructing success is a vital personal journey that will not only eradicate the work-life balance issue, but will result in figuring out the longing, wishing, craving, aspiring, desiring factors that make up the real adjectives of success in our world. The mindset has to change: Success is personal and its definition is designed individually. To one person, success is to create a business that provides the option to spend quality time with family, to another it is to retire independently.

If we step back and open our minds by identifying what does success REALLY FEEL to us, the response will be the stepping stone to finding the right tools, actions and next steps that will help in putting an action plan of what we REALLY WANT.

To be financially liberated, or to be creative or to have the right ‘business’ mind, starts from within:

You are what you feel.

You are what you think.

You are what you do.

Success is personal and its definition is designed individually.

If we open our hearts, open our minds and de-construct success, it could be the beginning of a path to real individual happiness and even the eradication of the societal problem. I believe that this new age success, where we live a mindful life that gives us the financial liberation that we want, can be possible if we start by shifting our mindset.
